Dear Action United, PNSJ, & ACORN Members, With great sadness, we bring you the news of Carol Hemingway's passing. We remember our beloved sister's dedicated service to her community as a board member and leader. We are comforted by knowing she made a positive impacted on so many. Our lives were changed forever when we met our friend Carol Hemingway. She was a force for good in this world and always surprised us with her straight forward approach to others, no matter the situation. With our remembrances, we hope to emulate Carol’s zest for life and remember the positive things she did for all of us and the communities she severed. Carol would always be remembered by her gentle way of correcting the spelling of her last name. Carol you will be greatly missed!

Donald Stokes was a long-time regular member of ACORN, and ACTION UNITED. Donald a quiet person was always there when needed: holding a banner or a sign at an action. Sorrowfully, Donald passed away May 29th 2025. He will be greatly missed.

We have been honored to have Ms. Frazier as a long standing member of ACORN/Action United. Ms. Frazier was tough on seeing that our schools programs were kept funded to support the developing young minds to keep them off the streets. We will always feel her void.
